9/22/2011 From: McCurnin, Mike [mailto:mccurnin@dmww.com] Sent: Thursday, September 22, 2011 4:06 PM To: Gastineau, Janet [DNR] Cc: Graham, David Subject: RE: SWTP MOR 8/2011 Janet: There were multiple (4) events that day when the turb spiked………….each event was less than 3 minutes in duration and occurred between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM . Because I couldn’t confirm that it was maintenance related, I went ahead and reported the 10 NTU. There is logic within the current program that will turn off the UF unit if the turbidity rises above 0.10 NTU and stays there for 10 minutes. Additional questions here? Please let me know. 9/22/2011 From: Gastineau, Janet [DNR] Sent: Thursday, September 22, 2011 1:02 PM To: 'McCurnin, Mike' Subject: SWTP MOR 8/2011 Was the daily highest turbidity for treatment train #2 really 10.00 on August 8? If so, were there consecutive readings on either side of this recorded every 15 minutes greater than 0.5 NTU? I will need an obvious reason or filter profile. If not, I will need this page to be corrected and resubmitted. Thanks. JANET GASTINEAU
