8/26/2011	Conducted quarterly site visit at the FMC Landfill in Elma. Litter control was good. Spot checked litter and load inspection records with Aric - they looked good, although no entry in the litter record meant litter was picked up and I suggested they log it in either as "Litter Picked Up" or "Litter Not Picked Up Because...". Looked at the working face with Derrick, the spray coating they use as daily cover seemed to be working well. I suggested that they make their intermediate cover a bit thicker on the southeast side as trash occasionally poked through.	DAVID MILLER
