1/6/2020	Justin Sprague with Pro Ag Engineering called to notify FO4 that he was working with Mr. Venner on some designs for total containment barns at the home place located at 17671 Hawthorne Ave. Mr. Venner has done some additional dirt work (berms) at the site to control the discharge waters from his solid settling area. He had planned to concrete several of the lot pens but the weather did not support the work being completed. Mr. Sprague will keep FO4 informed of developments in designs. Suspense date moved to June 15, 2020.	WENDY WITTROCK
7/30/2019	Discussed plans with Mr. Venner over the phone on 7/30/19. Mr. Venner stated that the pens were cleaned good in the Spring of 2019 and he had a concrete contractor lined up to pour concrete in the middle north pen to allow him access to scrape solids from the pens year round. Wet conditions have delayed the concrete construction. Plans to do yet this fall when contractor is available. Also plans to add concrete barrier berms to the west fenceline to help contain the flow of the effluent and solid from the lot into the solid settling area. Mr. Venner did have a dozer reconstruct the dirt berm (terrace) to handles the effluent flow once it leaves the solid settling area. The berm was built up and extended farther to the northeast to help contain the flow from running north. The suspense date has been adjusted to allow Mr. Venner time to get the contractor in to do the improvements to the open lot.	WENDY WITTROCK

Mr. Venner is dropping below 300 head and wants to reconsider his options. On the Granite site, the second barn is nearly complete, just for your information.
