7/15/2014	Previously unknown facility. I met with site owner to discuss a possible expansion from 1200 to 2400 finisher hogs. Existing barn is a SAFO (medium by EPA definitions). Existing barn constructed in August 2008 and is about 600' from Mill Creek. Since Mill Creek is a major water source, the minimum required separation distance is 1000' feet. Therefore, secondary containment will be required - can be addressed as part of the expansion if they proceed with construction of another barn.	SHEILA KENNY
