11/3/2021	I visited the CCC to observe conditions and to check the status of the owner/site transfer. Curt Connelly was not on site, but the planned buyer/next owner, Rich Vogt, was on site and we discussed the status. Recycling and waste disposal (in compactor) still taking place on site. Land ownership will transfer this year likley and then ownership of the business will transfer next year. We discussed the accumulated bales of plastic and cardboard. I conveyed that all the waste and recyclable material will need to be moved off site per the closure plan. We can discuss scrap metal and equipment down the road as it might be able to stay. I gave him my card and I told Rich to email or call me if he has any issues or questions. I told him Chad Stobbe is the main DNR permit contact in Des Moines and will be in touch with Curt, if not already, to convey the process of permit closure/transfer.	BRIAN LEE
