7/29/2009	A complete NPDES inspection was conducted at this facility. I looked at all the basins and there was no evidence of them being over full, nor was their evidence of any overflow. I checked the ammonia in Whiskey Creek and it was .6 ppm or less, no odor. Mr. Peterson does have a new pivot system for manure irrigation, it has an alarm system and two lights to make sure it is running correctly. There was no evidence of over application, he's only putting on 1/3 inch per round and has only irrigated for one week. There was no run off or any evidence of runoff at the time of my investigation. Iowa has no odor rules, so that concern can not be addressed by our department.	CINDY MARTENS
