5/6/2024 4/24/2024 1330: At Beyonder Getaway at Sleepy Hollow PWS in Oxford for WS Visit to meet with the Director of Operations (Robert Earl) and the water supply operator (Aaron Shumaker) and go over sanitary survey deficiencies and the PWS Permit, sampling plans, etc.. Neither Robert Earl nor Aaron Shumaker showed up to the site. I did speak with Stacey Earl and Tanya Myers while at the site and neither had any knowledge of what was needed as far as the routine testing and maintenance. They stated Robert had been doing that. I also was able to speak with Robert Earl a bit via telephone. I mentioned to Robert that I will need to meet with him and his operator to go over the sanitary survey deficiencies and the public water supply operations permit and for him to get back to me with a time that they both can meet at the site. I was able to review the logs for April 2024 and there was no data for 4/8/24 through 4/11/24 when the former staff had walked out. There was also no data for 4/17/247 & 4/18/24. The total chlorine residuals reported on the logs seemed to be around 2.8 ppm. I then went to the mens shower house where I had taken chlorine residuals during the date of the recent sanitary survey. I first did the test on the low setting but had to move to the high setting (reading flashed at 2.2). I then tested on the high setting and got 4.0 ppm for total chlorine. I retested to be sure and got a second reading of 3.9 ppm for total chlorine. I also took a picture of the log book which is attached to this staff action detail. JON RYK
