11/8/2019	Due to my not having been to the landfill in quite a long time, I stopped to talk to Steve Jones before he retires (mid December 2019), and to drive out and see the landfill and working face. The working face looked fine, not too big, was being compacted during my visit, windblown litter wasn't horrible, the tree waste pile needs ground up but they're waiting on Chamness to bring their grinder onsite. A new cell (Phase 3) was nearly complete, only the sand was yet to be placed. Contractors were building a rock road in order to get sand hauled in and dumped onto the poly liner for the drainage layer. A work request was just issued to get the cell "inspected" by FO6, which that will happen sometime mid November 2019. Contractors were doing dirt work around the sediment basin. Odor didn't seem any worse than normal landfill smells as far as i was concerned (even though just a week or so prior, the neighbors to the north filed an odor complaint.) Overall, I didn't see any violations.	KURT LEVETZOW
