6/3/2016	Bert Noll and I visited the Ottumwa SDP Closed area (also visited the main SDP for Bert's inspection/visit). Steve Jones explained that the creek is encroaching on a waste area towards the northwest portion of the closed area. Trees will be removed and additional cover/stabilization measures plan to be installed in the near future. In addition, an old covered area of waste at the northeast corner (outside the assumed waste area) was discovered by Barker Lemar and that area, along with about 20 acres total, is planned to be purchased by the landfill. Additional cover will be placed over waste to get the proper cover depth.	BRIAN LEE
