5/21/2013	I visited with Kiburz at his residence after meeting with Tank, Cruise and Barnes and told him they seemed agreable to improving their drainage and would be contacting their engineer to discuss. This would allow for better drainage on Kiburz's upstream property. However, any physical improvements on his land would likely be his responsibility.	BRIAN JERGENSON
5/21/2013	I was asked to follow up on several past complaints from Jerry Kiburz, a landfill neighbor. I met with Jerry and heard his concerns on 5/8/13. He explained that through the history of the landfill that sediment had washed down and saturated his and the landfill's waterway and now this area held water instead of draining it. Sediment loading was no longer occurring since the landfill has closed and has been seeded and stabilized. Jerry stated he would be satisfied if Jones Co. would improve the drainage on their property to allow for his surface water to move through his bottoms instead of ponding. He understood this would likely take some work on his part on his property. On 5/20/13 I met with Merle Tank, Joe Cruise and Dale Barnes of the Jones County SW Commission. Tank and Cruise accompanied me to the SW portion of the landfill property where drainage seems to be an issue and is backing up water onto Kiburz's land. Tank and Cruise agreed it would be reasonable for them to speak with their engineer to discuss options allowing for better drainage.	BRIAN JERGENSON
