6/27/2023 6/26/2023 email response from Steve Phillips: On January 31st, 2023, Rounds and Associates inspected two UST’s in our Germ facility, during the inspection it was determined that Tank 2-30k was giving a false positive high level alarm. It is believed that there was condensation built up on the probe indicating the level was high therefore setting off the high level. We emptied out the SWS tank by pumping it over and decanting the hexane/water. Once tank was empty the alarm cleared. We had an electrician use the trex to see if there was anything on his end. Between the 2 actions the level cleared and have since been cleared. Nothing was physically done to the probe and no work outside of routine operations was performed so no work order was generated. Thank you and if there is anything else we need to provide to clear this record, please let Ben Johannsen and I know. BILL GROSS
6/1/2023 I received an overdue response email from R&A inspections for the UST facility at Cargill- Eddyville. Cargill had not responded to an overfill alarm malfunction. 5/23/2023 I contacted Steve Phillips of Cargill about this. He agreed to respond. 5/31/2023 - Steve called and said the malfunction was repaired promptly, and he would send proof. He said the staff person that was supposed to respond was on vacation at that time. BILL GROSS
