10/22/2025	On October 14, 2025, this office received a complaint of a manure release from Marshall Ridge Dairy, during application, near 275th St and Durham Ave, in Marshall County. The complainant stated that the manure ran onto a field owned by Darryl Goodman. I (Katie Taylor) visited the site the same day and met with manure applicator Nick Spohr (11859CMSR) on site. Spohr stated that application for the field in question had occurred on October 8th, it then rained 2/10ths of an inch that night. The area in question had been cultivated multiple times to try to incorporate the manure that had pooled and then run off the field. I confirmed a spill had occurred at the site (field 64832034P2000 Richeson), and manure had run into a grass water way through the Goodman property. While the site did not show many areas of significant pooling, evidence of manure was found approximately 1200 feet into the Goodman field. Kevin Blood stated that he had been notified of the release on Sunday, October 11. He had been in contact with the owner of the field to establish any necessary remediation. However, this office was not notified of the release in the required time.	KATIE TAYLOR
