4/21/2025	3/6/2025 - The cover letter for permit amendments indicates a permit would not be required for the slop tank vent.	BILL GROSS
1/17/2025	Jan. 16-17, 2025: I contacted Nate Tatar (AQB) who is the project manager. He indicated a construction permit would likely be required for the slop tank vent (SUE not available since DNR found it). I informed Mark Dorn (Dynamic Renewables). He agreed to address it.	BILL GROSS
1/13/2025	12/19/2024 - I visited the site and met with Site Manager Milton Kelley and Chad Baldwin. They showed me the slop tank at the amine gas processing line. It was recently installed. A few times daily it vents off gasses through a 6-8-inch elbowed pipe to the south with a horizontal discharge point. This was to avoid gas build-up and exposure to employees. I told them they may need an AQ construction permit. To follow up on my previous AQ inspection and an excess emissions report, I found the thermal oxidizers (flares) were being monitored at the control center. Digester 503 (SE) was not being used as they were awaiting replacement of the roof. The gas transmission system was frozen so they were not transmitting gas at the time (it was being stored in the active digesters).	BILL GROSS
