4/15/2022	I contacted Jon Penheiter, landfill manager, and informed him of the complaint. He said he is aware of the problem with the high wind lately and would like to have the option to shut down the landfill, but that must come from the landfill board. Jon agreed to contact the complainant direct. I was at the site the previous day (see separate visit entry with photos) and I observed litter on- and off-site. I told Messrs. Penheiter and Kern that I expect litter collection and control to be stepped up, and much improvement should be evident as soon as conditions settle down.	BILL GROSS
