11/29/2017	The SHL completed the sample analysis and those results are attached. Summary: OA-1 showed very little positive hits. OA-2 however, was a different story, see below: Analyte Result ppm Quantitative limit ppm Diesel 7800 3000 Motor Oil 58000 3000 TEH 66000 3000 I forwarded the results to the VB County Engineer, Ryan Thornburg, and informed him that with knowing for a fact that Troy Sedore dumped the oil on the road directly in front of his property, the DNR cannot require him (Troy) to clean it up. Ryan responded and indicated he'd see if the county attorney can do anything about it.	KURT LEVETZOW
11/14/2017	I called and discussed the complaint with Troy Sedore. Troy mentioned that he first noticed the oil on the road on Wednesday (11/8/17). Troy said he did not spread waste oil onto Teal Ave, and asked his staff if any of them did it, and they reportedly did not either. Again I asked Troy to verify that neither he or his staff dumped the oil, and again he indicated that they had not. I collected a sample from the road, put into a clean quarter jar, and had it dropped off to the SHL. Jon Ryk from FO6 took it up to the lab the afternoon of 11/14/17. I am having it analyzed for OA1 (gas/BTEX) and OA2 (oil/diesel).	KURT LEVETZOW
