2/2/2010	On 22 JAN 10, Bob Palla, IDNR Wastewater Engineering Section, issued Jonas Leid a departmental authorization to construct a secondary containment barrier for the facility. With construction of the secondary containment barrier, the issue of insufficient separation distance to a watercourse will be resolved. The facility was also issued a Facility ID of 66297. 11/23/2009	Clarification: The facility had not yet been populated at the time of the initial investigation. Therefore, the separation distance issue was not yet a violation; as it still could be remedied via either moving the watersource or building secondary containment.	TRENT LAMBERT
11/23/2009	Spoke with Clarence Martin who will live at site and Jonas Leid who owns the site. Clarence is Jonas Leid's son-in-law. Jonas owns property and confinement, while Clarence will mange site. Confinement actually for beef cattle. At 400-450 head, it is a SAFO. Drainange to the north closer than 500-feet. Jonas proposed moving drainage, but after speaking with me, Randy Clark, IDNR Legal Section, and Jeff Simmons, IDNR Floodplain Section, he informed Randy that he will construct secondary containment to negate 500-foot separatio distance requirement.
