9/6/2024	Visited facility 9/4/24 at about 1 pm. No smoke or smoldering observed. Talked to Tyler (on-site staff) and he indicated he was tasked with covering pile with soil. Most of the pile was covered with clay soil. No issues determined at the time of my visit.	BRIAN LEE
9/3/2024	9/3/24: Kurt emailed Lillian Chamness (~10:15 am) to see if she was aware of the smoke/smoldering and, if it had not yet been addressed, to please have staff address it as soon as feasible so that it does not get any worse. He had not received a response by 2 pm 9/3 so I offered to attempted to contact Lillian via phone. She answered and indicated Truman Chamness was on site and addressing this issue. She did not provide detail regarding what the pile was or was specific measurwes were being implemented. I told her if she had additional details, she could email or text us. I told her we would convey to the complainant that the smoke/smoldering was generally being addressed. I will plan to observe the facility tomorrow (9/4) afternoon to check on the status of the smoke/material.	BRIAN LEE
