1/29/2018	I looked at the pictures. There was a picture of a rendering pick-up box full of dead pigs. There did not appear to be any dead animals on the ground. There was a picture of a tanker truck with a hose coming off the side of the tank. I talked to the owner Josh Cook, He told me all of the mortalities (deads) are in the rendering pick-up box and will be picked up today. He said he has large pigs in there right now (must be close to sending them to market) so they tend to fill up the box. About land-applying manure. Josh said they put out enough manure last fall (using direct injection) to get them through the winter season. They might be doing some land application of manure in the spring at which time they will also inject. Josh thinks the farmer who owns the land is getting some type of product from Smith Fertilizer and Grain and they may be land-applying that product right now.	BILL GIBBONS
