3/28/2011	Jim Moller leasses this property to Kyle Ulrich of Kyron, IA. I spoke to Kyle's hired man that stated that they currently had 960 head on site but they average about 700. The small retention pond that was in place was removed approximately 2years ago and the concrete/wood plank solid settling structure was added at the same time. The structure appears to be functioning properly however, there is a large volume of clean water coming off the roof of the main barn that is probably too much for the small SSS to handle. There was evidence of solids reaching the ditch and a clear flow path of manure was evident however, there are no intakes or creeks in the immediate area to be effected. It appears that the manure is settling out in the ditch and the rail right of way. I recommemded that they install a gutter system to remove a large portion of the manure load they are getting and also install a grassed waterway to assist in settling solids and keeping them out of the ditch.
