10/24/2016	Application was completed on the field in question (south of 5520 360th St.) and no pooled manure was observed. I spoke to the homeowner and he indicated that the last row on the east end (directly across from his residence) was where the tankers pulled in and out of the field, so they compacted that row enough that when they did the application on the last pass, he stated that most of the manure was visible on the surface in the knife tracks. As this area is within 750' of the residence, I recommended to Mr. Klein and Mr. Dan Van Bruggen that this last row be disced to ensure that all manure is incorporated within 24 hours of the application. Mr. Klein stated he would do so. Application was occurring in the field south of the site and also about 2 miles SW of the site. A very small amount of manure was visible in some of the end rows, but will likely soak in within 24 hours. Also checked the MAC certification for all 6 applicators on site. No violations noted.
