5/11/2017	Terry Jones and I visited the facility on Tuesday. We spoke with Skylar Bowman and Keith Pearl from Sivyer. They took us to the location of the "pit" that they pumped out. Roof drains come into the facility and connect to piping under the facility. There is an access (manhole) to this underground piping that became dislodged when an employee was pushing foundry sand into a pile. A "boulder" fell into the pipe and caused the blockage. This blockage cause some water to back up into one of their pouring pits. So they put a pump into the pit to pump the stormwater out of the pit and "over/bypassed" the blockage area and outfalled back into the same piping that was blocked. Basically they just pumped around the blockage. Once they found the "boulder" they removed it, the water started to flow again and they took the pump down.	JEFF PRIER
