3/30/2021	I have spoken with Jerry Parker, Wapello county Supervisor, Landfill folks, and left a message with the Recks. So Chris will have someone collect the litter from the Reck's property tomorrow. This was concurred by Mr. Parker. Mr. Parker stated that there is a 20' fence between them and the landfill. I have told them both that the landfill permit and the DNR rules associated with Landfill requires addressing the litter daily and if that is not feasible then on windy days or other odd weather days - taking preemptive efforts to mitigate the litter issue would be reasonable and wise...such as closing earlier to cover and address litter...using actual dirt to cover for the day, having a full time litter picker, etc. Though the Recks call us often, they sometimes have some actual litter impact..so I don't want to dismiss their calls or concerns completely.
