5/7/2020	After several conversations with Mrs. Reck the week of 4/27/20 on 5/7/20 I contacted Kevin Flanagan, Director of Solid Waste who agreed to have a crew come and pick litter from the Reck's property some time in the following 5 days between the hours of 9 and 2. He said he would try to have the crew that afternoon but could not guarantee. The situation currently is that the landfill personnel will not go onto the Reck's property due to legalities that have occurred in the past. Therefore they employ 3rd party workers to pick litter at this particular property. Relations between the landfill and the Reck's is very strained. I therefore propose that a schedule of litter picking be agreed upon between the landfill and the Reck's to reduce future complaints etc. According to landfill mgr Chris Bettin and Mr. Flanagan the landfill is currently in the process of building an additional fence 15 ft tall that will ultimately go around the entire landfill but is starting with the first 400 ft bordering the property line shared by the Reck's and the landfill to help with wind blown litter. .
