3/5/2018	3/1/18 I met with Charlie Sexton, current landfill manager to investigate this complaint. Mr. Sexton explained that the landfill was logging some of the surrounding timber on their property to remove some of the more valuable trees in anticipation that these areas will eventually be used as landfill cells. Actual construction has not begun for a cell however and will not any time in the near future. Mr. Sexton showed me three spots where the logging had been taking place. All of the areas were disturbed very little with only a small path into the woods at one spot to indicate that any activity was taking place. Per the complaint I specifically observed no erosion or impact to the receiving watershed.	BERT NOLL
