7/27/2009	On 7/27/09, Matt Rhodes out of the Alliant Cedar Rapids office called me back regarding my phone call to Jessica Kime. He will check on things to make sure there are no issues and will get back with me.	DOUG HAWKER
7/27/2009	I have also called Ken DeKeyser Cedar Rapids MS4 coordinator 319-286-5802. He has been to this site on several occassions keeping an eye on things. I informed him of this most recent complaint. He will swing by and check out the situation. He will let me know what he sees.	DOUG HAWKER
7/27/2009	Talked to Joe Griffen about possible storm water issues for this particular complaint on 7/23/09. He told me that no storm water permits would be needed for this activity. I also contacted DNR Fisheries Biologist, Paul Sleeper and asked him to recon the area. He talked to me on 7/27/09 and told me that he did not see anything he would consider to be a violation and he did not see any direct impact upon this project to the McLeod Run trout stream. However, he did note that there was some potential for runoff from the hole drilling activities should a heavy rain occur. I called Jessica Kime, 563-288-3355, environmental consultant for Alliant Energy on 7/27/09 to discuss the complaints we are getting.	DOUG HAWKER
