3/28/2018	email from Jenny: APEX company has notified us about bring app. 500 yards of steel pipe containing asbestos insulation and 700 yards of asbestos containing soil. I need to know who I contact for questions about this. Doug said he is not sure what to do. my response: Asbestos waste can be buried at the landfill. You need to record the location of the burial site. This is why it is often better to set aside an area for it, but that's not necessary as long as you record the location. Asbestos is only dangerous if it becomes airborne and is breathed in. Therefore, you should try not to break it up and keep it covered and/or wetted down when handling it.	BILL GROSS
