I am still definitely not 100%, but am at work today trying to catch up. I’m not really sure why the 6 was ever plugged into that section, that has been used since before I took over operator in charge. We monitor the chlorine residual continuously, so I will reflect that change in the January MOR. I will contact JETCO next week, to have them make sure our SCADA is setup correctly regarding the chlorine residual monitoring, as you state below. JANET GASTINEAU
1/17/2018 FO5 WS MOR, DNR <fo5wsmor@dnr.iowa.gov> (sent by janet.gastineau@dnr.iowa.gov) Attachments1:19 PM (0 minutes ago) to osceolawater2 Brandon, I just noticed on the December MOR that the disinfection/oxidation data page has Nov, so I corrected it and attached it here. I also reformatted the "month" box on the header. On our printed copy the year didn't come through as a number on each page so I also tweaked that a little and attached it. I don't know if you start with a clean MOR each month so it may not matter what I did on subsequent MORs. I can send you a new template with some of the newer formatting if you let me know. Anyway, my bigger concern is on the disinfection/oxidation page where you have entered a 6 for each day as the number of source/entry point tests. It really should be a "C" for continuous. But what we need to be sure of is that your SCADA isn't set up to only take one reading every four hours like it does for the CFE turbidimeter each day, even though it is monitored continuously. So, you will need to look into that and make sure the lowest measured chlorine residual reported each day is the lowest from the whole day and not from six distinct measurements recorded by SCADA every four hours. We can talk about it if you're not sure what I mean. Make changes for January 2018 MOR. JANET GASTINEAU
