12/8/2017 David Miller and I (FO2) met with Perry to discuss the required actions I had listed at the end of my TV inspection report. Several of these items were carried over from Mr. Miller's inspection two years prior. We went through each item and Perry explained how he intended to come into compliance. Most of the activities will require increased tracking and record keeping. In response to this, Perry has developed new spreadsheets and plans to rely on managers of various sections of the facility to collect the needed data. He also plans to work with a consultant on determining how to best track the needed information. David Miller and I expressed concern that despite the proposed tracking methodologies, without additional staff time dedicated to these issues, it would be difficult to meet all the requirements. We also explained that if improvements are not seen in the very near future, further enforcement action with a financial penalty would be pursued by the Field Office. In the NOV letter dated October 18th, 2017, a written response had been requested by November 30th to address the deficiencies found during the September 28th inspection. No response has yet been received. Perry stated he has begun drafting a response and will finalize and send by December 13th, 2017. We explained to Perry that we will review the response and then follow-up in some manner to determine if progress towards compliance is being made. DAVID KNOLL
