10/23/2017 Mr. Haman contacted Field Office 1 at approximately 8:30 am on 10/23/17. Mr. Haman stated that he was on the way to the site and had talked to Blake Dougherty, General Manager, already on site. Blake reported to Mr. Haman that the site had received .7 inches or rain over the weekend and no discharge had occurred. Mr. Haman noted that the previous week the facility had utilized a manure pumper to remove water from the east containment and place it in the west containment structure. He said this was following containment instructions provided by DNR staff, Deb Schiel-Larson. Mr. Haman also stated that berms were constructed last week to drain construction water to the west basin. He also noted that the east earthen containment berm had been enhanced. RICK MARTENS
