10/3/2017	Gary and Scott Henly-site manager, stopped in the office to further discuss planed additions to the site to return it to the original permitted capacity. There had been some confusion since the plans their consultant (Nancy Bormann) sent and were reviewed by Paul P. seemed to indicate there may be a need for a new construction permit. Cindy Garza and I reviewed the current plans Gary has and explained his requirements to build. A part of the site is within 1000 ft of a major watersource so it was explained these new additions would require secondary containment to be built. They also needed to calculate the new animal weight capacity after the additions to determine if that would change since the lagoon construction permit has a max site weight already. We discussed that they could do the project in stages and do a separate CDS if they wanted to get part of it built this fall yet. We explained if they need to get a floodplain determination and karst borings completed, then await 30 days for DNR review and approval, they would be cutting it close to be able to get started before winter. Gary will make some additional calculations and plans but we seemed to be in agreement over what needed to be submitted before he could start building.	DANIEL WATTERSON
