9/28/2017	Andy and Jennifer called back to determine if they needed to submit a bypass/discharge report prior to discharging the storm water pond that the boiler water had been mistakenly discharged to. I reviewed Glenn Carper's notes on the event. I explained that no reports are required for storm water bypasses or discharges, only wastewater. Since there appeared to be minimal impact to the storm water pond, the discharge would not be considered a wastewater bypass. I explained they should follow their facility procedures listed in their SWPPP for observing and/or sampling the pond prior to discharge, and document internally. No further notification to the DNR was required.	DAVID KNOLL
