9/27/2017	The Cleaver Brooks representative was on site to oversee boil out of the new boiler. He opened a valve and discharged 59 gallons of boiler water containing some anti-scaling chemicals and 0.4 lbs of potassium hydroxide and 3 lbs of trisodium phosphate to the facility's storm water pond. Jenny did some pH testing and got readings between 7.5 and 8.5 su. I told them that I would not write this up as a spill because it did not meet the definition of a hazardous condition. I told them to hold the storm water until there was additional dilution and then follow normal protocol before discharging.	GLENN CARPER
