8/29/2017	Jose called to ask if he could remove the sludge and sediment that has built up in the storm water pond. I asked if they had a stormwater permit or plan for this site, and he didn't believe so. I said I will check the file and get back to him. After reviewing the site file and finding no active storm water permit, I called Jose back. I informed him they may clean out the pond and should spread the material out in a crop field or use as fill dirt around the site. He said there was some water in the middle of the pond so I cautioned him about needing to ensure that does not cause any runoff if land applied. He asked what they should do with some trees and brushy vegetation they would like to remove to limit other bird habitat around this area. I said that would be considered landscape waste and they may burn that onsite if they like. He asked if he could get something in writing explaining what they can do, so I agreed to send him an email summarizing our conversation.	DANIEL WATTERSON
