8/22/2017 Gastineau, Janet <[email protected]> 1:39 PM (0 minutes ago) to mccurnin, Contact, Jennifer, Carter We recently had an internal meeting to discuss a few membrane plants and DMWW MOR came up as an example and a couple of questions were raised. 1. What direct integrity test criteria do you use for the upper control limit (UCL) in psi/min? 2. Same question for Ptest (psi). 3. Origin of those DIT critieria? I know you submitted a protocol, but it's never been reviewed (that I know of) and WSE is trying to catch up and acknowledge these daily values. If you have any communication Jennifer Bunton may have shared with you in this regard, please pass it along. Ideally we would like this test parameter/DIT section completed each month. That's what we are working toward requiring but have to approve these values first. Some membrane WTPs fill it out and others don't. I also learned I should have issued a violation back in October 2016 when the direct integrity test did not get performed in a 24 hour period for UF#4. I'll know better going forward and assume the lack of oversight that lead to this has been administratively addressed and corrected to minimize a recurrence. Thanks for your help. JANET GASTINEAU
