5/4/2017	I was part of emails and at least one phone call with the City of Floris (Marcie Benge) regarding Floris's waste that's hauled by Sedore Sanitation, the cities waste and recycling isn't going to the proper landfill (Ottumwa-Wapello Co Landfill) per comprehensive planning regulations, therefore, Floris was being threatened to be removed from Ottumwa's Comp Planning area. If that would have happened, Floris would have become their own, which would be a pain and possibly costly. Therefore, Floris is requesting DNR staff attend the city meeting monday night May 8th. DNR SW Section sent Floris a letter detailing all this. See picts i obtained showing dumpsters in Bloomfield and trash cans in Floris, all Sedore picks and rarely takes to Ottumwa's Landfill.
