From: McCurnin, Mike [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, October 14, 2016 3:44 PM To: Gastineau, Janet [DNR] Cc: Water Production Supervisors; Corrigan, Ted Subject: DMWW - Saylorville Water Treatment Plant (UF #4 MIT Missed on 10/13/2016)) Janet: Individual MIT (Membrane Integrity Testing) is required daily for each ultra-filtration membrane train as part of our IVP (Integrity Verification Protocol). For October 13, 2016 UF #4 did not receive an integrity test. The UF #4 train was out of production mode for what appears to be a failed/prolonged chemical clean for nearly 15 hours which prevented execution of the required test. A lack of oversight on the part of DMWW also contributed to the test not being performed. We should have recognized earl in the day that the test was not complete and endeavored to initiate the test at a minimum. The subsequent MIT for 10/14/2016 registered an acceptable result of 4.412 LRV. Our MOR for October 2016 will not include MIT data for the 13th for UF #4. Trend below is additional information. If additional efforts on our part are required due to this oversight error, please let me know. JANET GASTINEAU
