I have consulted with the DNR Solid Waste Section and DNR acknowledges that these facilities sometimes choose to cease operation during the coldest months, so DNR will not require actual operation of the Regional Collection Center by December 31, 2016. Your proposed opening date in March 2017 is satisfactory. However, please certify that that the Regional Collection Center is indeed “complete and ready for operation” when you submit the Compliance Report by December 31, 2016.
