7/22/2016	John is considering adding another hoop barn in 2017. The new barn will be located east of the existing row of hoop barns and will have a small open lot area to the south like his other barns. The purpose of the new barn is so that he can decrease the density of the two confinement hoop barns in the center (from 90 head to 65 head each). The new barn will hold a maximum of 95 head, so the open lot numbers would increase from 610 to 705 head and the confinement numbers would decrease from 245 to 195 head. The total for the site would be 900 head, so the site will remain a medium sized combined operation. No permitting or MMP/NMP would be required for this change. I asked John to let us know when the work is completed so that we can update the animal numbers in the database.	SHEILA KENNY
