5/4/2016	Received a call from Jim Meade. There was a train derailment at the ethanol plant in Goldfield where two rail cars of corn were dumped on the ground. The company has indicated that they can't use the corn as it is considered contaminated so they plan to bring it to the transfer station. Mr. Meade stated that they will be unable to handle this much corn in a short period of time. He plans to stockpile it on level ground near the building and add it to the loads as they are taken to the landfill. I told him to make sure as time goes on that there is no leachate from the stockpile making to a surface water and to get the corn removed as soon as possible. He stated that he thought it would take a least a month to get it all hauled away. He is expecting about 60 dump truck loads.	JEFF VANSTEENBURG
