7/21/2015	I emailed Steve Jones, Landfill Manager, to inform him of a conversation I had with Mark Flammang, IDNR Fisheries Biologist regarding disposal of dead fish (carp and shad) from the Ottumwa Lagoons. Mark said the DNR and City of Ottumwa are going to do some work to the lagoons but first have to kill the fish off with Rotenone and wondered if they could bury the fish. I told Mark there's not an exemption for burying the fish, but they could land apply them and disk them in or landfill. Mark thought there'd only be 1-3 thousand pounds so landfilling may be the easiest and cheapest disposal route.	KURT LEVETZOW
