3/25/2015	Last fall, a new employee drove too slow while applying manure, causing the variable rate control on the tank wagon to malfunction and no manure to reach the 2 center tubes on a 6 row applicator. Mr. McKenney was concerned that the 2 center rows would be under-fertilized. I advised him that any additional nitrogen would need to be justified by a late spring nitrate test representative of the area where the additional nitrogen would be applied.	DAN OLSON
