10/15/2014	Andy called to report that yesterday from 6:45-7:45pm, the plant had an issue with an HCL Tank that they thought they might have blown a rupture disk as they couldn't draw a vacuum, so when they investigated it by loosening bolts on the rupture disk mechanism, they heard a hissing noise, so they pulled back and got some PPE on, went back to tighten the bolts back down.....which they did and got the hissing stopped. Last night they'd reported to NRC, just to cover their bases as the reporting time is very slim. I told Andy that if they didn't end up exceeding a Federal RQ, which he's positive they haven't, and they didn't meet any of DNR's reporting criteria, then he doesn't need to report it to the Field Office either.
