I will send you a letter recapping the specific requirements DNR has set forth regarding this matter, and I will cite the specific portion of the Iowa Administrative Code that obligates you to remedy a potentially hazardous condition or demonstrate that it is not a potentially hazardous condition. In the meantime, DNR recommends that you not construct a building over the area in question because if would complicate matters if contaminated soil excavation is required. Please note that DNR reserves the right to request additional sampling to determine the extent of soil and/or ground-water contamination, if the results of this sampling effort suggest that there has been a material spill associated with the incident. We also reserve the right to request that Northwood Ag Products conduct sampling of nearby wells at some point in the future. DAVID MILLER Environmental Specialist Senior DAVID MILLER
