5/29/2014	Just called and talked to Amy again, she said the contractor wasn't interested in the spot where the fill came from, rather, where it was hauled to and dumped. The city is wanting to know if DNR is going to require anything further before they initiate construction on a business park on what we have always referred to that fill spot as, the "onion fields". 5/29/2014	A contractor called Amy Buckendahl in DNR's SW Section regarding the sale of a piece of Sivyer Steels property that used to have a mountain of spend foundry sand stockpiled. The stockpile has been removed, but apparently the contractor was asking about that land being for sale. Amy called and asked if i knew anything about it, which i didn't. I then called Dale Gillette at Sivyer, Dale wasn't there, so i spoke to Derek Bloomfield, Dale's assistant. Derek said he wasn't aware of the sale of any individual portion of their land, although he did indicate that their parent company was going to sell the foundry at some point in the future, but he didn't suspect that the foundry would close.
