4/17/2014	We received an odor complaint against the landfill (in writing from an inmate). i called wade and spoke to him about it. Wade said the prison staff isn't wanting to move to the new prison located next to the landfill, so the complaint may be coming from staff through inmates. wade said the landfill hasn't accepted any waste they aren't allowed to, and haven't changed operations. Field Office 6 hasn't received any other odor complaints filed against the landfill since the composting operations several years ago. Plus, FO6 SDP inspectors are onsite every quarter and haven't noticed odor that's abnormal for a landfill. Wade is going to set up a meeting with the prison and iam going to be invited so i may end up attending that to "clear the air" on odor regulations (i.e. we don't have any specific to landfilling operations).
