4/4/2014 From: Cindy Turkle [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, April 03, 2014 3:29 PM To: Smith, Mike [DNR]; Miller, David [DNR] Cc: Doug Luzbetak; Rob work Subject: NCIRSWA Mike and David, I am just letting you know that as weather permits, staff at the NCIRSWA landfill will be "pot-holing" to locate the liner/leachate drainage layer on each side of where the new cell and new liner will be installed this year. As previously discussed, Mike wants us to locate the liner to be sure we tie in the new with the old. As a result, there will be areas "disturbed". We will properly handle any waste removed, but I know that it will not be as nicely covered and graded as it is right now. Please contact me if you have questions. Thank you.
