4/3/2014	Barb Wood called on 3APR14 and stated that there had been no bypass in July, and that she had made a reporting error on the July MOR. Ms. Wood stated that it was a reporting error which repeated an actual bypass from the month before. Ms. Wood stated that she had called this office shortly thereafter, and thought she spoke with Carl Berg or Jeremy Klatt, but in any case she informed someone here at DNR that it was an error. I advised Ms. Wood that I would log our current conversation into the FOCD. There was no FOCD entry reporting the earlier call to which she referred, and neither Berg nor Klatt recalled such a call. However, the June MOR reports the following: “June 12- 19 Bypassed to storm sewer into Winnebago River”, which compares to the July MOR: “Bypassed - 8 days, 12th – 19th”. Within a few minutes, I received the following email: From: Barb Wood [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, April 03, 2014 9:29 AM To: Miller, David [DNR]; William P. Stangler Cc: Paul Vanous Subject: RE: Mason City Bypass Notice of Violation This is what I remember, On Julys report I put Junes bypass on. I think it was Jeremy but could have been Carl that called me and notified me that it was questionable. I asked them to remove it; that it was my mistake. Could you please format a letter and direct it to Bill Stangler of the findings so we have a paper chase of the incident. Thank-you.	DAVID MILLER
