3/13/2014	Steve Eastman called me on 12MAR14 with an update on progress of the fire cleanup. He stated that they had collected 14 roll of boxes of snow/ice and debris, each of which was in secondary containment, and they would wait until the snow/ice melted, then test the water and properly dispose of it. They would dry out to debris to pass the paint filter test, and then it would go to the Landfill of North Iowa. I stated that I had been copied on several emails to and from the Landfill, and I understood that an appropriate waste characterization regimen was being finalized. Mr. Eastman indicated that they had built a sand berm all around the burn area to catch melt runoff, and that they expected to have all the metal washed soon, and would probably decontaminate the concrete slab over the weekend. I suggested that I would likely come up Thursday or Friday to check on progress.	DAVID MILLER
