1/17/2014	Good Morning All open feedlot’s must also document / submit annual manure samples from the scraped (solid) manure and the effluent (liquid) manure. While the samples can be obtained any time throughout the year it needs to be documented with the open lot reports. Most feedlots submit the sample results with their annual report (you usually do this with all of the AT sites you work with). Below are a list of feedlots that I do not have documentation on Flyin’ A Cattle Co. Barry Farms S & B Feedyard Crossroad Cattle Co. Wendl Feedlot Inc. Schechinger Farms Please submit documentation that an annual manure sample was obtained for both the scraped manure and the effluent. The documentation can either be the date that the manure sample was obtained (and I’ll have to verify that we have a copy of the lab data in the facility file) or a copy of the lab data.
