MidAmerican Energy just completed their electrical upgrades to operate the new leachate system. Rasch is completing all the hook ups right now. On Wednesday, the lift station and pumps were “commissioned” and ready for power. (We pulled in a standby generator to get the controls set.) The force main was pressure checked and passed all the tests. We will be pumping leachate to the sewer by the end of today. The wastewater plant has been notified, also. Leachate collection will be automated and occur 24/7, 365 days per year. If you have further questions, please let me know. Doug will be submitting all the documentation in the near future.
